This workshop has been designed as CPD training for Equi-Therapy UK Graduates and any other fully qualified Equine Therapist only.
The course will be very practical and concentrate on the observation, evaluation and effects of good farriery. Once complete you will be able to use these new observational skills as part of your assessment routine. The following subsections will be covered in detail:
Shoe construction and design
Identifying Foot Faults
Anatomy & Anatomical Issues
Evaluation of the Horses Foot
Evaluating Gait
Practical Farriery
The training will be carried out at Kirsty Hardstaff Equestrian, Hall Farm, Main Street, Linby, Nottingham, NG15 8AE. The cost of this course is £155.00 per person and is inclusive of a CPD certificate of attendance and handouts.
You will be expected to provide your own lunch, but liquid refreshments will be freely available throughout the day.
The course has a maximum intake of 20 participants to ensure the quality of the teaching and maximise learning potential.
