Equi-Therapy UK currently offers their training courses from four 5* venues, 2 based in the Midlands, one based in North Lincolnshire and one based in  Kingston-Upon-Thames in Greater London.

Gilliyan, ETUK’s Principal Tutor, normally teaches at Kirsty Hardstaff Equestrian, Linby – home of Professional Showjumper Kirsty Hardstaff. This brand new equestrian facility provides a wonderful atmosphere and is set in acres of rolling countryside. See the Linby, Nottinghamshire page for more information. Gilliyan also teaches at our Springbridge Carriage Driving Centre in Leicestershire.

Amanda, one of five ETUK Registered Tutors, teaches at the Kingston-Upon-Thames venue and occasionally at Springbridge Carriage Driving Centre in Leicestershire. The Leicester facility offers up eight wonderful “patients” who are only too happy to have massage techniques practised on them as they are ponies certified for Driving for the Disabled. See the Springbridge, Leicester page for more information. The Kingston venue is certified by the BHS and Pony Club – see the Kingston page for more information.

Beccy, the second ETUK Registered Tutor, teaches at her own yard in Alkborough, North Lincolnshire. Beccy is also a UKCC endurance coach and competitor and the Alkborough venue is home to Murmansk – her premium endurance Arab stallion – who is now at stud and producing fantastic young stock.

Amy and Eleanor are ETUK Registerd Tutors and are also trained in Deep Oscillation. They normally teach at the Equi-Therapy venue at Linby in North Nottinghamshire.

Training Abroad

Equi-Therapy UK goes International with EMS & Hoofbeatz™, UAE!

Gilliyan Carter-Morgan (the owner and Principle Tutor of Equi-Therapy UK) was offered a teaching opportunity at Hoofbeatz™ Horsemanship based in Dubai.  Hoofbeatz™ offers educational programs for people of any age to expand their natural horsemanship skills in a relaxed & encouraging environment.  Eileen Verdieck & Anwer Sher, Co-Founders of EMS (Equine Management Services) & Hoofbeatz™ approached Gilliyan after meeting her at the Parelli Celebration in October 2008.  They were very keen to bring her massage techniques to the people of Dubai & expand the education between horse & human at the Hoofbeatz™ Centre.

In February 2009, Gill ran her renowned horse owners course, the Equine Massage Certificate  abroad for the first time.  The course was well attended by horse owners, breeders & staff members.  Although some attendees spoke very little English, Gill tailored her teaching to suit everyone’s needs.  The structure of the course followed that of the UK.  There was a theory session in the morning covering the important aspects of anatomy, which was then followed by the practical application of the massage techniques.  Everyone found it very educational & enjoyed the hands-on with the horses… which were all impeccably well behaved.  Everyone left happily with their workbooks & certificates of attendance.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved.

Both Eileen & Anwer were thrilled with the success of the course and Gill returns as often as her work schedule allows.

Equi-Therapy UK™ is happy to offer training throughout Europe, USA & the UAE for numbers in excess of 8 persons attending any one course in a venue of your choice.
