This workshop has been designed as CPD training for Equi-Therapy UK Graduates and any other fully qualified Equine Therapist only.
The course will be very practical and concentrate mainly on observation, evaluation and preparation for saddle fit. Once complete you will be able to use these new skills as part of your routine therapy practice. The following subsections will be covered in detail:
Saddle Construction & Tree Design
Identifying Saddle Faults
Functional Anatomy & Anatomical Issues
Evaluation of the Horses Back
Evaluating the Saddle ‘on and off’ the Horse
Practical Saddle Fitting Application
The training is carried out at, Kirsty Hardstaff Equestrian, Hall Farm, Main Street, Linby, Nottingham, NG15 8AE. The cost of this course is £125.00 inclusive of a CPD certificate of attendance and handouts.
Students will be expected to provide their own lunch but liquid refreshments will be freely available both days.
The course has a maximum intake of 14 participants to ensure the quality of the teaching and maximise learning potential.
This workshop is designed for Equine Therapists & Bodyworkers only & will in no way qualify you as a recognised Saddle Fitter.
