Your Tutor
Gilliyan Carter is the principal tutor & founder of Equi-Therapy™ UK. She has worked and been around horses since a very young age and has developed an extensive knowledge of the relationship between horse and rider and what influences their performance.
She has always had a fascination for learning, especially where horses are concerned.
Equine Sports Massage was a natural progression for her after spending several years as a Personal Trainer and Human Sports Massage Therapist.
In December 2004 Gilliyan took over the teaching of the already well-established Equine Massage Diploma, accredited by Active Foundation. Since then the course has evolved and become more specialised offering both professional and non-professional qualifications to the equine world.
