Hi, my name is Christina Davey and I

qualified as an Equine Sports Massage

Therapist in 2006. I have been a human

complimentary & sports massage therapist

since 2000 and saw the advantages that

horses can get from massage and so

trained with Equi-therapy UK.

As with humans, Equine Sports Massage Therapy is about using non-invasive massage and stretching movements to promote health and fitness and keep your horse sound and injury free. Think of it as an MOT and service for your horse - it can identify small complaints and treat them so that they don't become serious concerns.

I am also a Reiki practitioner and perform Reiki on horses as well as humans. Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘Universal Life force Energy’ and is the ancient art of natural healing. It is a gentle but powerful ‘hands-on’ technique that restores natural balance within the body and provides deep relaxation working on the mind, body and spirit and allows the body to harness essential energy to heal itself and function at its optimum.

I am based in Leicestershire close to the Warwickshire border and cover all areas of Leicestershire and Warwickshire but am happy to travel to all areas of the Midlands. I offer an Assessment Only service as well as a Full Treatment service (assessment and sports massage) and price is dependant on distance travelled and the number of horses being treated.

Assessment Only Service starts from £15.00 per horse

Full Treatment (Assessment & Sports Massage) starts from £35.00 per horse

Reiki starts from £25.00 per horse

Discounts are available for treating 3 or more horses at the same location and time.
